Capital Campaigns

 

To serve and treat the people of Haiti as Jesus would have done is at the core of what Heartline Ministries is all about. This ministry feeds both the heart and soul with God’s word and lives are forever changed. The people of Haiti depend on Heartline Ministries for their hopes, their dreams, their future – Heartline Ministries depend on your prayers, your donations and your support.

Women's Program

 

What is Needed: A separate space dedicated to the Women's Program. Initially this new Women Center will accommodate 20 women and expand from there.

 


Women's Center Location: We are looking at building on top of our orphanage allowing to focus on the needs of the women without taking away from the orphanage.

 


Goal: To raise $50,000.00 to build the expansion and an additional $20,000.00 for support and maintenance of this new center. A generous donor has committed to match dollar for dollar, donations given by the end of July 2006 for up to $25,000.00

English Camp

 

What is Needed: Committed volunteers to serve as "teachers" who are willing to assist in the development and implementation of a biblically based curriculum. This camp will serve up to 40 children with ages ranging from 5 to 12 years and teens.

 


Volunteer Set-Up: 7 teams will be established, each team will consist of 4 to 6 "teachers" with each team
serving one week at the camp.

 


Camp Dates: 2007 Date to be determined

 


Goal: Raise $7,000 for funding of
this project. To date we have raised over $1,000.

Guest Home

 

 

What is Needed: A separate dedicated home next door to the Maranatha Orphanage, where visitors, volunteers, missionaries and adoptive families can stay while in Haiti. 

 


Why Now: Currently, being the gracious hosts that John and Beth are, they have had volunteers, families, visitors etc. stay with them at their home. In the beginning this arrangement worked out fine, however, as needs increase so does the number of people that come as well. More room is needed to adequately accommodate the guests, volunteers and families who so enthusiastically serve our mission.

 


Additional Service: This new Guest Home can also be self-funding. Other area missionaries would be able to rent it out as well, which would also provide additional income that would be used to serve the many needs of our ministry.
Goal: Our goal is to raise the $200,000.00 needed to purchase this Guest Home/Missionary Home.
